Yellow Tail Reserve Chardonnay

Nature is full of surprises.  Every vineyard seems to have that special patch where grapes grow with just a bit more flavor.  The Yellow Tail Reserve range is a preferred selection, crafted from grapes picked in the finest vineyards a cross South Eastern Australia.

Fruit Sourcing

Muilti-regional blend with significant proportions of fruit from Cowra region (over 50%).  Other regions include Adelaibe Hills, Padthaway and King Valley (vintage 2008).

Winemaking

Cool harvested at nigth to retain maximum freshness and partially fermented in oak barrels.  Partially aged in oak barrels for 6 to 9 months to add texture and complexity to the fruit-driven palate.
